Pray 4 Summer
is a rock band from Gisborne, delivering an energetic mix of original music and classic covers. Formed 3-4 years ago, the band combines influences from '70s rock to modern anthems, creating a sound that resonates with a wide range of music lovers.

Known for their engaging live performances and tight musicianship, Pray for Summer is committed to creating memorable experiences for their audience, whether through their original tracks or dynamic cover renditions. With a focus on showcasing their versatile rock sound, the band continues to build a strong presence in the local music scene.
With over 20 local gigs under their belt including The 2024 Gisborne Beer Festival, 2024 Matawhero Winery ½ marathon, several Smash Palace gigs, and loads of Rockquests, and we put our shows on at Gizzy Local for youth.
Our setlist comprises of mostly 90s grunge up to modern day Rock and dance tuners.
